FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

What are generation credits?

Credits meter the assistant’s generation features — for example, drafting a starting twin from a datasheet, or scaffolding board wiring. Designing boards and running simulations don’t consume credits; using the assistant to generate something does. Free includes none; Maker and Pro refresh weekly.

Is my firmware modified to run on the twin?

No. CircuitTwin verifies the exact, unmodified binary you’d flash to real hardware — no simulation-only build target, no shims standing in for the real driver. What passes on the twin is the artifact you ship.

What’s supported today?

A growing catalog of MCUs and sensor/IC breakouts, each backed by a check against real vendor driver code. STM32F103 is our most thoroughly proven MCU — the same unmodified firmware that runs on its digital twin has also been verified on a physical board over ST-Link. Coverage is expanding, and parts we haven’t verified are labeled as such rather than guessed at.

Is there a self-serve signup or payment today?

Not yet. CircuitTwin is invite-only early access — request access and we’ll follow up as seats open. No payment details, no commitment.
